Apple ”reinvents the ...
Apple aims to ”reinvent the textbook” with iBooks 2 and the iPad. Can they? Yes, having an iPad in class and being able to interact with your text book is an awesome idea and will definitely stimulate interest, but is this a realistic possibility? Money is the first thing that comes to mind and I can”t imagine that every school district will be able to afford iPads for each one of its students. Also, there is the risk of an iPad being lost, stolen, or damaged. Is that a risk worth taking when so much money is involved? These are just a few of the unanswered questions that have risen and that we discussed during the show. We also talked about AT&T’’s controversial new data plans. A lot of people are upset about these new plans but the new rates seem to make sense – you get more data so you, naturally, have to pay more. I guess some people don”t see it that way. We moved on to the Pantech Burst review and a Dogfight with the Nokia Lumia 710 and the HTC Radar. We finished the show with an open Q&A. Check out the timeline below for more details. During the show, we discussed the most popular announcements. We saw new flagship phones from Motorola and Verizon, AT&T, Nokia, Samsung and more. Is the Droid 4 the phone should look into if you need a physical keyboard? Is it worth it to upgrade from the RAZR to the RAZR MAXX? Is the Titan 2 the best Windows Phone or should you go for the Lumia 900 instead? We answer all of the questions during this week’’s episode of PhoneDog Live. Check out the timeline below to skip around to the device that you want to hear about.
