This week’’s Dog Pound is a busy one and therefore slightly longer than usual. MWC took place last week which means that there were tons of new phones and tablets announced, most notably the Xperia P and U, the HTC One S, V, and X, and the Asus Padfone. Quad-core processors were all the rage and we saw plenty of phones running Ice Cream Sandwich, which is always good to see. Sydney recaps the biggest news from the event. We also got some updates on Windows Phone 8 which will reportedly support dual-core processors, a launch date for the Galaxy S III, and the next version of Android. Nokia Connections 2011 is coming up on June 21st and Sydney disccusses her predictions for what we”ll see a the event. Will it be new software? New hardware? Perhaps a new tablet? We”ve also seen some leaks and teasers this week aboout devices with interesting form factors. The Sony S2 features a clamshel design with two displays.
