CTIA took place in New Orleans last week and we got a chance to see plenty of new phones and Aaron has tons of hands-on videos for you to check out. The most notable devices were the HTC EVO 4G LTE and the HTC DROID Incredible 4G LTE, both of which have been passed through the rumor mill for several months now so it was nice to finally see them unveiled. Both are very similar to the HTC One X hitting AT&T, but there are a couple of differences. This week on The Dog Pound, Sydney shares some of the things she learned from playing Pokemon, and tells a childhood story about her name. (Don”t worry, it’’s more interesting than it sounds.) By way of news, we finally got an invite to the event where Samsung will announce “the next Galaxy”. This event will take place on May 3rd in London. We also got an invite to an event where HTC and T-Mobile will unveil the HTC One S which corroborates with rumors saying that the One S would launch on T-Mobile on April 25th. In terms of Windows Phone news, Nokia revealed that it sold two million Lumia devices in Q1 of 2012. That is an impressive number and bodes well for Windows Phone. In this episode of The Dog Pound, Sydney covers news on Windows Phone, iOS, and Android. To start with, we finally have official confirmation of the Lumia 900′’s release date, April 8th. Also coming on that date is the HTC Titan II. So if you”re on AT&T and a Windows Phone fan, then April 8th will be a great date for you. In iOS news, Aaron has posted his video review of the new iPad and we”ve heard some new rumors about the next iPhone. It may have a larger display, but it may not. We”re pretty certain now that it will have LTE support but we won”t know anything for sure until it’’s announced by Apple. This week’’s Dog Pound is a busy one and therefore slightly longer than usual. MWC took place last week which means that there were tons of new phones and tablets announced, most notably the Xperia P and U, the HTC One S, V, and X, and the Asus Padfone. Quad-core processors were all the rage and we saw plenty of phones running Ice Cream Sandwich, which is always good to see. Sydney recaps the biggest news from the event.
